Karla has been fortunate enough to have taught in the United States, Mexico, and India, and these experiences have given her extensive knowledge about all aspects of the sport. She has been surrounded and taught by olympic riders and international trainers, and has always had a passion for the jumper ring. Her success in and out of the ring is attributable to her belief that horsemanship, mindfulness, respect, and discipline are key components of learning how to ride.
Iker was born into an international competitive riding family and is a Grand Prix rider that has been working with horses since age 4. His love for horses and teaching others shows in everything that he does- and he is loved by each and every person that knows him! His ability to build confidence and make you laugh go hand in hand with his expertise in teaching, and he truly encompasses all of the qualities that make a trainer exceptional.
Dakota Philibert, a San Diego native, embarked on her equestrian journey at the age of 8. She honed her skills by working with young horses and has gone on to achieve remarkable success throughout her career. She has competed in international classes up to 1.45 meters and has spent the past five years riding competitively in Mexico.
Today, as a dedicated riding instructor, Dakota imparts not only technical proficiency but also emphasizes the significance of partnership, patience, and respect.
Born and raised in Madrid, Ellen has been a horsewoman since the age of 8. She has competed both nationally and internationally. She began her eventing career after moving to San Diego in 2004 and specializes in the retraining of OTTBs. Ellen has trained all levels of kids and young adults and loves to help horses and riders connect and love the sport the way she has for decades.
